I was going to use the tins that my hand salve comes in. You could also use little mint tins or the ones for scrapbooking embellishments. Come to think of it, lots of the little containers that brads, eyelets and other small scrapbook items are packaged in would work, too.Yeah, I'm definitely going to try the glitter gel too. My eldest got some makeup for her b-day (she is 6) and it was really scary looking. I managed to get rid of it by letting her "paint" pictures with it on paper. For the glitter gel, what kind of container do you put it in?
Every year we give our girls their own Christmas ornament. The idea is that when they leave home, they will already have a collection of ornaments for their own trees. The ornaments they have received so far are a combination of homemade and store bought. My favorite of the homemade ornaments are the reindeer we made with popsicle sticks, then painted. Super easy and very cute!
I just saw Fair Indigo has added ornaments to their offerings. They are a company offering fair trade items, some of which are also organic. The ornaments are in the Baby & Gifts section under the Home category.
Thanks for the glitter gel idea!
